Pass code

pass word is different from pass code, how do I retrieve the pass code please?

An Apple ID uses a password (and a two-factor authentication code if you have that option turned on -- see Two-factor authentication for Apple ID - Apple Support )


Devices use a passcode. If you have forgotten a device passcode:

If your iPhone or iPad has iOS 15.2 or later installed, see: How to reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch when you forgot your passcode - Apple Support


If that option is not available, you will need to use a computer. See:

If you forgot your iPhone passcode - Apple Support

or

If you forgot your iPad passcode - Apple Support
