I have aiphone 11 mini. I have no problem adding contacts to WhatsApp Groups but there is one particular contact that I can't 'see' when I go to 'add particapants'. I am based in the UK the contact is in Australia and I have followed the guidelines when entering her details She appears in 'contacts' but not when I try and add her. Any ideas?

WhatsApp installed and functioning for many other groups. Problem partially solved - I made one of the other group members an administrator and she was able to add the contact immediately - strange eh?

If you're sure that that correspondent has installed Whatsapp in her/his smartphone, contact Whatsapp support team and ask them.

Glad you could work it out, but you will certainly agree that this does not depend on your iPhone settings.
No idea about that weird thing, and I can't reproduce that behavior on my Whatsapp (that's why I suggested to contact their support team directly).
