Emails missing after upgrading to Monterey

Log into www.icloud.com and Mail to verify if they are still there

I am having the same exact problem and the favourite mailbox solution is not helping. I have no idea which all of the emails that I am missing, but I only discovered this right after upgrading and trying to locate two specific (random) emails from people I communicate with the most. Still on my phone (and I assume in iCloud) but gone from my MacBookAir.

Following this. I too am missing emails, far more that 2 years. I'm showing a couple emails from '20, '19, then drop down to '17. These are emails I absolutely need! They are NOT still on my iPhone either. WTH???? I already use the "favorites" and have all my accounts under that.

I had same problem... was on phone with Apple support for over an hour and was 'upgraded' to high level support, if I wanted to do this, which was going to involve significant time and commitment with no guarantee it would work. I gave up. :-\. But, if really important to you to recover the lost emails, may try this.

I just updated and am missing 2 years of emails on my MacBook Pro. everything is on phone. Favorites thing doesn't seem to work.

This seems very random!

I am having the same issue. Missing 2 years of email under the search function after the IOS Monterey upgrade. Any new ideas? Favourites technique not working.
