Does a MacBook Pro needs to Jailbreak before updating?

I bought a MacBook Pro (M1) I have been before using MacBook and MacBook Pro (Intel) I tried to download free iTunes so I can upload music to the application. I found the MacBook like a commercial! I had no clue about but am true to make almost 2011 songs on my device. I want now to leave to make more photos not share but to save on my device. Does it need to update software or just this system I used for iPhone's before? If you have an answer to my question please do not histate. I am waiting for your replay to this article.

Nope, no "jailbreaking" on a Mac. It's not tied to any online service, use as you wish, store all the files you want to up to the disk's limit but always leave 20% of the disk totally unused. If you fill the disk completely, you run the very real risk of causing problems.

The Mac is ready to go out of the box. You do not need an iPhone or iPad for basic operation.

Macs and iPhones and iPads do not share the same operating system.
