I have a Mac book and I want to trade it in but Apple doesn’t recognize the serial number. Serial C0*****F84

That’s the one I tried. It’s not that old!

Try the one on the bottom of your Mac. It's in quite faint fine print.

Make sure that you're using a zero and not the letter O. The letter O is not used in serial numbers.
