Double clicking home button does not open Apple Wallet

Double clicking the homebutton on my iPhone 7 Plus does not bring up Apple Wallet.

Here's what I already tried:

Went to Settings -> Touch ID & Code, deactivated and reactivated "Wallet"
Went to Settings -> Wallet & Apple Pay, deactivated and reactivated "Double-Click Homebutton"
Restarted my iPhone using the "normal" method and a softreset.

Additional information:

I don't have any credit or debit cards in my wallet, I only have plane tickets and my vaccination pass. Does that matter?

Hey ItsBeacon!

After some testing it looks like you are required to have a card in the Wallet app in order to use the passes as well with double-clicking the Home button.

Make sure you're running the latest software in Settings > General > Software Update. Try adding a debit/ credit card or loyalty card from a retailer and check for the behavior.

Hello ItsBeacon,

We'd recommend checking your settings for your Home Button on your iPhone. This will guide you: Adjust settings for the side or Home button on iPhone

Once you have those settings adjusted, you can use your Home Button to access the Wallet app as shown here: Add, use, and share boarding passes, tickets, and other passes in Apple Wallet

I also have some old plane tickets lying around in my Apple Wallet, but it still doesn‘t work. I have also seen many other people struggling with this on their old iPhones with a home button, but they all seem to not have found a solution.
