Double clicking home button does not open Apple Wallet

Double clicking the homebutton on my iPhone 7 Plus does not bring up Apple Wallet.

Here's what I already tried:

  • Went to Settings -> Touch ID & Code, deactivated and reactivated "Wallet"
  • Went to Settings -> Wallet & Apple Pay, deactivated and reactivated "Double-Click Homebutton"
  • Restarted my iPhone using the "normal" method and a softreset.

Additional information:

I don't have any credit or debit cards in my wallet, I only have plane tickets and my vaccination pass. Does that matter?

Thanks for your help!

Hey ItsBeacon!

After some testing it looks like you are required to have a card in the Wallet app in order to use the passes as well with double-clicking the Home button.

Please leave feedback about this here: Product Feedback

Hello ItsBeacon,

We'd recommend checking your settings for your Home Button on your iPhone. This will guide you: Adjust settings for the side or Home button on iPhone

Once you have those settings adjusted, you can use your Home Button to access the Wallet app as shown here: Add, use, and share boarding passes, tickets, and other passes in Apple Wallet

Take care!
