scammer?

I have gotten 3 texts for an "apple id verification code", NINE (yes 9) calls from a number right after the text (even though I decline each call), and a pop up on my phone asking to use my iPhone for a password reset. It's happened 3 times today. They always send the text, call 3 times, etc.. It's really annoying and I don't know what to do. I've changed my password twice today. I also have scam calls blocked through my carrier, so I don't know how they are bypassing this. Any advice??

Hello bethacus,

It does sound as though you're getting hit with spam calls. Using your carriers call blocking is a good idea to help with these. There are also several features built into your iOS that may help as well.

Do you currently have "Silence Unknown Callers" enabled? If not, check out Detect and block spam phone calls for details on this feature.

You can also block the phone number that's been messaging or calling you, using the steps here: Avoid unwanted calls on iPhone.
