Memory issues after update

If you're not sure what's taking up your storage, we'd suggest checking that under Settings > General > iPhone Storage so you can identify areas of opportunity to free up space.

I think this could well be an update related storage problem... or perhaps a background maintenance task that is eating up available memory? I have cleared 2GB of storage space and still the available amount seems to disappear in a number of hours.

My phone is an XS with 64GB of base memory/storage and I had no issues prior to 15.4

Interestingly I also can't transfer photos via Windows PC now...? used to be able to cut and paste... now just copies a file header (no data) and stops. Will keep trying and update if I make any progress.
