I can't recharge my Magic Keyboard. I don't know why. I use the same lightning cable and usb port to charge the mouse, and that works fine. Could there be a problem with the keyboard's lightning port? If so, how do I fix? The computer is from late 2015

I seldom charge by attaching to a Mac. It works, but a wall charger is faster.
There is also the chance your KB is faulting. Try charging with your iPhone charger (obviously cables have to be compatible) and see if that works.
If nothing works, KBs are not repaired; they're replaced and you may need a new one. Or possibly a new cable. Do you have a spare you can try?
I've ordered another cable and will try that when it arrives. My current cable works fine to recharge the Magic Mouse, but not the keyboard. So we'll see. Meantime I've gone "back to the future" and installed a corded, fullsized Apple keyboard from a few years back... a little nostalgia :)
