AirPods won't disconnect from iPhone when I put them in the case

i have problem about my case, to connect my AirPods to the phone I have to charge the case and after the case can be visible for connection plus my case always shows that it’s 100% battery. And also when I put back my AirPods in the case they are still connected to the phone. I wanted to know what might be the problem because I tried to even Reset them
