why does my new ipad running facetime ecco when someone calls me

I understand that you are hearing an echo on your iPad when on a FaceTime call. Keep in mind the quality of your internet connection can have an impact on your audio/video in FaceTime. You could FaceTime someone that uses the same network to see if the echo is still present for both of you. You could also connect to a different network and test. Are both parties on speaker? If yes, have one party use headphones. Reseting your network settings may also resolve the issue.

Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPad > Reset > Reset Network Settings

Let us know if this doesn't resolve the echo.
