Get this Prepared for Trade-In: First, you need to perform as Instructed here (including a backup for recovery purposes): What to do Before you Sell, Give Away, or Trade in your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support. Then, have your aunt send it in --she does not need to associate it.

Three Things Here:

• iCloud Accounts don't Exist:

You have an Apple Account (the one you are using to log into these forums with) --there is no iCloud account.

• Obtaining Other's Files:

Ask your Aunt: If you want these files, you need to request permission. I'd say do not retrieve these without the owner's consent. If, however, if she is deceased, then this may apply: How to Request Access to a Deceased Family Member's Apple account - Apple Support

• Accounts cannot be Merged:

As for Apple Library-purchased items, they cannot be transferred between accounts. As for personal files (i.e. photos), you need to have your Aunt login with her same credentials, and export the data for you.
