Air pods gen3

I finally broke down and purchased my first pair of air pods. This morning Siri told me he was listening if I wanted to reply. I have tried several times but it does not work. What am I doing wrong?

You are welcome.

Troubleshooting AirPods' and Siri:

Verify that these are Genuine AirPods:

  1. Get the Serial Number: Find the Serial Number of your AirPods - Apple Support
  2. Enter the Serial Number here: https://checkcoverage.apple.com/.
  3. View the Results: If all shows up as an AirPod, then you are fine. If not, then these are fake, and that is likely why you are getting the issue of connectivity.

B. Try Re-Pairing these:

What's the Device? What device are you connecting these to? Ty unpairing, and then pairing, these from and to, your device, respectively. For iPhones, Go Here: Use AirPods and Other Bluetooth Accessories with Apple Watch - Apple Support
