When entering my serial number, I’m getting a message that states. The serial number you have entered has been replaced. Can you please me tell me why that message may be ?

Troubleshooting Device Ownership:

Contact Apple Support. There may be an error in Apple's device database. Co, contact Apple Support, having them fix this. I purchased a pair a few years back --turns out, they were returned, and never disassociated form the account of the original purchaser.

Apple Contact Info:

  • Contact Us - Choose Locations
  • Proceed from there, as necessary
  • Why the Wait: Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)
