I would like to be able to sort all my albums in alphabetical order.
I don't just want to sort the photos in one album .
If I have 100 albums I need to be able to have them in alphabetical order on my phone & iPad too.
I have 79,000 photos and many albums too!
There is no automatic sort option for albums in Photos on the iPhone or iPad, only on a Mac To arrange the list of albums alphabetically open the "My Albums" view, tap "Edit", then drag the albums into the order you want.
I prefer to organise my albums by enclosing them into folders and sub folders, no more than ten items in each folder. This is making it much easier to access the albums I want to find, just a tapping a folder, then the subfolder and I can see the album I am looking for.
Thank you, one would hope that one day the developers would have already looked into this!
