Where can I get an installation file for an earlier version of Monterey.

When I upgraded to MacOS 12.3 on my M1 iMac, it broke a program that I need. I'm hoping to set up my external SSD to boot to an earlier MacOS. My computer won't let me try Big Sur. Is there a way to download an install program that will install Monterey12.2 or 12.1

I'm wanting an old version of Monterey. I looked at those sites yesterday and did not see any download available to install an older version of Monterey. I did find and download one for Big Sur, but was unable to run it from Monterey.

I'm not wanting to downgrade my iMac's main drive, I just want to install an older version of Monterey on my external SSD.

Where can I get an installation file for an earlier version of Monterey.
