Deleting emails in iMail

I use iMail in conjunction with a GoDaddy email account and have accumulated about 15 messages that I cannot delete. When I try to delete them, I get the following drop down message:

"The specified object was not found in the store., The process failed to get the correct properties." Apple has been unable to find any errors causing this. It's now happening in two accounts. Any ideas? GoDaddy says it's a thing that Apple has to solve.

Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode?

Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches, so if Safe Mode works try again in regular boot.

Quit Mail & login to your WebMail in a Browser, if possible delete the eMails there.

If you have no POP accounts & they’re all IMAP accounts then in Mail’s Mailbox menu choose Rebuild.
