Will this work in USA

I have had a new iPad and I am thinking of giving the old one to my daughter in the USA. If I send it to her will she encounter any difficulties either with Voltage differences or will Apple be difficult in setting up the iPad over there as it’s been registered previously in the UK. Will there be any import duty to be paid?

Your daughter will need a charger that connects to power in the US.

If she does not already have one, Apple does sell them.

Before you send the iPad to her, follow the instructions in this link,

letting each step complete before going on to the next one:

Import duty will depend many variables. Your favorite search engine

should provide more details. Or she may consult a tax specialist/lawyer/accountant.
