Why doesn’t Siri hear me or when I hold down the home button it doesn’t work. I even tried to reset my phone.

Make sure 'Hey Siri' is setup and turned on.
Clean the Mic Grills
Try to Disable and Re-enable Siri
Update phone to the latest iOS version.

Technically, reset should be the worst-case scenario, but if you have done it, best is to contact Apple Support.
