Messed up Monitor Colors

Suddenly, without any known reason, the colors on both of my monitors are totally messed up. Washed out. The color space is really trashed.

I found a link that suggested that the mini might think the monitors are TV's and doing something strange with the color space ?

I'm at a total loss any ideas would be appreciated.

PS it's not the monitors. It's the Mac Mini

no HDR Brightness Balance I have the same exact problem as the other poster and have seen tons of conversations regarding this subject. If we have a HDR display or tv, using SDR results in completely washed out colors. Ok fine, so let's turn on HDR. Except on HDR, the screen is completely dim. Just got the 27" studio display. Terrible flicker I just purchased the 27" studio display to connect to my 2021 MacBook Pro. I started editing an image in Photoshop and terrible flickering. Sometimes a dark grey band goes across the image. The flickering is happening every few seconds. thank you for any help

Go to Apple > System Preferences > Accessibility Displays and check to make sure that the Contrast slider is set to Normal.
