Remove Un-purchased Music (ending Apple Music Subscription)

How do I remove unpurchased music from my devices without having to delete everything and re-add?

I still purchase individual songs so I can load them into music software, slow them down, and change the key. That way, it is easier to learn them on guitar. The apps I use check for DRM. No worries, I that is why I buy the song.

Unfortunately, I also subscribed to Apple Music and this makes the buying process virtually impossible...and the download the purchased song totally impossible

So I have canceled my Apple Music subscription.

So how do I get the subscribed-entitled music off of my devices to clear the way for the actual purchased music?

Thanks!

Mac mini, macOS 12.2

You can turn automatic downloads off if you want. I have downloaded music on my phone to listen to offline and don't need it on my Mac.

To see purchases and non-purchases, select songs in the Sidebar. Select View > All Music. Select View Options > Cloud Status (you can now see what's purchased). Any music that you have imported should show as either uploaded or matched.

If the iTunes Store is showing a price for music that you've purchased, means that the music has been hidden. To unhide music select Account, View Account, sign in, hidden purchases.

Unfortunately you are stuck with most things until your subscription expires.

Thanks for your reply.

The error is on both my Mac mini and my iPhone. I had previously downloaded it under my Apple Music Subscription since there are many versions of every song and I need to listen to them to find the correct version.

Unfortunately, downloading it through your Apple Music subscription turns the "$1.29" button into a "Play" button. The only way to get the "$1.29" button back is to remove the subscription download / delete from library. Which I did. So the "$1.29" came back and I clicked it to buy. It seems the downloaded version is still the subscription version lacking DRM so Transcribe+ prevents me from converting it to stems (individual vocal, bass, drums, and instruments parts).

My downloaded music seems to be a mix of "purchased" and "non-purchased" (i.e., Apple Music Subscription entitled) songs.
