Video recording

I have an IPhone 12 Pro and EVERY time I try to record a video it cuts out at about five minutes. This is unusable and very disappointing given its a newer model, who knows maybe apple is breaking my “old” phone to get me to buy a new one🤨. I’m only suspicious because it seems lots of people are having this issue and it seems so avoidable. Anyone have any tips?

iPhone 12 Pro, iOS 14

is that the only way? I feel like I shouldn’t have to update my phone to use it 🙄 I (highly dislike) apple and how they operate. Every update there’s less privacy.

IMPORTANT: If you have an option to update, however, then be certain you backup your iPhone first. That way, you will have something to restore your iPhone from should anything go wrong with the update

Why to Back Up:

No; it isn't the only way. But I see you are using an iPhone 12 Pro with iOS 14, and updates are meant to fix bugs like this. So, by all means, back up, then update the iPhone.
