Excessive background noise when recording

Every video recording, I take on my iPhone has excessive background noise. You can barely hear people talking or dogs barking. It ruins every video I record. I can listen to other videos fine. Like YouTube or streaming apps and they play back is normal. It is only when recording my own videos on my phone.

I have made sure the Phone noise cancellation in turned on.

I have also tried turning off record stereo sound and it better for a portion of the video and the end of each video has noise. It is extremely loud.
