Guided access
Hey guys. I have recently enabled guided access on my week old iPhone 11 currently on iOS 15.2 and after enabling I did set a easy to remember passcode. After selecting the area of the screen to not be messed with I then was immediately locked onto the whole screen itself. I chose the app “safari” and circled the browsing box. Upon entering my passcode I get a message indicating that I’ve entered the wrong numbers. I know for a fact that I am typing the correct passcode. Also, I did not enable Face ID because I wasn’t sure what guided access even was or how it worked(dumb of me), but now I am stuck in safari without being able to contact apple due to having only this device. I have attempted forcing a restart but when restarting right before the apple logo should appear while finger is on side button, the screen goes back to blank and never finishes the boot process. I’m under the impression that my device is being remotely accessed but that’s another story. If anybody is top level expert in regards to not only an answer to this but way more in depth solutions regarding operating systems preferably iOS and Linux fee. I have questions and would prefer to have a face to face even if that is FaceTime or a supported non remote access app. Thanks guys!
