Siri will give me the weather on my watch, iPad, iPhone X but quits on my MacBook Air if I ask anything at all to do with the "weather"........It WILL answer any other kinds of questions on the MacBook, but not if you mention the word "weather" or "temperature".....

Indeed. The only thing I can get working is asking "What is tomorrow's forecast" and "What is this week's forecast".
Just to add, Siri doesn't like weather or temperature on Catalina or Big Sur any more.
