Disable autoplay on Apple TV+ device?

I have tried the solution posted various places of Settings-->Accessibility-->Motion to disable autoplay on AppleTV+ videos on my Apple TV4K box but it still counts down and autoplays videos before the credits have finished. This may have been a solution deprecated in recent TVos updates?

Is there a technical way in AppleTV+ Settings for a handicapped person without hands (a war veteran) to have autoplay permanently disabled, instead of trying to jump for the remote control to press the menu button before the countdown timer ends?

Doesn't having a way to permanently turn off autoplay, contravene disability legislation?
