When my new iPad mini (6th gen) was set up, it was copied from my iphone 13 mini. Now my iPad mini comes up as the same name as my iPhone under my devices with ipad mini 6 as subtitle. How do I change the device name to 'my iPad mini' ?

On the iPad Mini, go to Settings > General > About > Name and change the name there.

I did that but when you see it listed as my devises under apple id it still comes up as iphone pad mini 6
Give it awhile or try restarting all of the devices.
There is no other place to change the name.
