Using iPhone X as Bluetooth Adapter/Dongle

Hi all, I have a PC that doesn’t have wifi and all the articles saying how to do this, say to use Personal Hotspot, but I’m not sure if it’s not working cause I have to use the cable as my PC doesn’t have the aforementioned wifi capabilities?

My PC never finds my iPhone in BT Device Search when I have Personal Hotspot on, BT on and have it connected via the USB Cable.

What do I need to do to get this to work?

iPhone X, iOS 15

Personal hotspot sends a wi-fi signal (it is a substitute for having a router that is connected to the internet send the signal). For it to work with your PC, your PC would need to be capable of using wi-fi.

You may want to look into adding a wi-fi adapter to your PC. The following is one example but I haven't used a wi-fi adapter for a long time and can't make any recommendations: https://www.amazon.com/Wireless-USB-WiFi-Adapter-PC/dp/B07V4R3QHW
