Hello fotalvaro,

Being able to record the screen of your iPhone is a great feature and you've come to a great place for help! The microphone can be enabled and disabled when recording the screen of your iPhone. To confirm if the microphone is turned on, "touch and hold the gray Record button, then tap Microphone" in the Control Center. These steps can also be found in the "How to record your screen" section of the following article.

Record the screen on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Do keep in mind that recording audio when recording your screen is not supported in all applications. If the microphone is enabled and you're able to record audio from other applications, reaching out to the app developer is the right next step. They'll be able to provide more insight as to what features may and may not be supported with their app. You can find their contact details following the steps in the article linked below.

Hi this is what Whatsup support sent, I verified this information and everything is enabled

Please ensure the permissions for desired features are enabled. For example, if you want to share your Camera with WhatsApp, that must be enabled.

In your device's Settings > Privacy, each menu should have WhatsApp set to ON.

  • Location Services
  • Contacts
  • Photos: Select All Photos or Selected Photos > Edit Selected Photos.
  • Microphone
  • Camera
  • Local Network: iOS 14 and newer and must be enabled to make calls.

If WhatsApp is greyed out or doesn't appear in Privacy settings, ensure that you don't have any restrictions set in iPhone Settings > Privacy.

The path might vary from phone to phone. Contact your phone's manufacturer for instructions.

If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us. We'll be happy to help!
