I need to get a transcript of all text messages sent and received from a specific number. Is this possible? If so, how? I saw this question was asked before. However, the answer that was provided was not helpful.

Regarding the Messages app - You get the "transcript" when the conversation is current. If you have deleted it then it's gone for good. Use Messages on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch says: "When you delete a message or conversation, you can't get it back. So make sure that you save important information from your messages."
SMS text messages are transmitted from the sender to the receiver and a telecoms carrier does not retain the text of the message.
