Events added to multiple calendars

This hasn't been asked in a number of years according to the thread history, so I am hoping by now there is a new answer…. How do we add one event to multiple iPhone calendars? I need to put my meetings with the kids schools in my shared calendar with them so they have them, but I also need these to be on my work calendar to block out the time so no one schedules a meeting during that time. I keep getting double-booked when I am at my desk working and have my outlook calendar up:

Hello hljvla,

When creating a new event, you can choose one calendar to sync that event with. You'll need to create a new event if you're trying to sync it with another calendar:

  1. "In day view, tap the Add button at the top of the screen.
  2. Enter the title of the event.
  3. Tap Location or Video Call, then enter a physical location or tap FaceTime to enter a video link for a remote event.
  4. You can also copy a FaceTime link you created or received and paste it in the Location field. See Create a link to a FaceTime call on iPhone.
  5. Enter the start and end times for the event, the travel time, invitees, attachments, and so on. (Swipe up, if necessary, to enter all the meeting information.)
  6. Tap Add."
