I am currently using iphone 12 pro max ios 15.4.
I recently updated my phone from ios 14.8 and discovered my caps lock would automatically turn off after sending a message whereas before the update the caps lock would remain on until it is manually turned off.
I cant seem to find any setting for this option, can someone help me please.

You cannot leave it on after sending a message. While it will remain on during the typing of one message, it will turn off as soon as you send. I've never seen it work any differently, and I've had every iPhone and iOS since the beginning. It certainly was not that way in iOS 14.x, unless there was something wrong with your device.

To capitalize a whole sentence, click twice quickly on the capital letter sign ⬆︎
Using Caps-Lock for the whole sentence online is consider shouting (and is very rude).
Settings > General > Keyboard > Enable Caps Lock: ON
If you want that, double tap on the Shift key.
hi, to make things clear, I am aware of how to use the caps lock function.
What I want to know is how to keep it enabled after sending a particular message instead of it reverting back to small keys.
I use caps lock very often to express excitement in my conversations with friends and after the update it has made things very difficult as I have to constantly double tap the shift key after every sentence.
Auto capitalization is different. That only capitalized the first letter of the sentence. You said after Raicya told you that you did not want that. You wanted the caps lock to remain on permanently until you turned it off, correct? I've never seen that, as long as you do not get away from the keyboard. If you close the message, which causes the keyboard to close, it will revert. If the keyboard remains open, then the Caps Lock will remain after you hit send. I'm sorry if I confused the two actions.
Thank you, keeping the keyboard open seems to have worked in messages. However, in WhatsApp, it still goes back to small letters after sending while the keyboard remains open. Do you have any insight on this issue?
Try this -> go to Settings -> General -> Keyboard -> Auto-Capitalisation -> turn it On.

I’ve checked with another friend on iPhone 13 pro and she confirmed that it still does auto capitalisation after sending a message.

Then compare the settings of your iPhone with her iPhone.
I just looked at an iPhone 4 S, and it's not possible either.
