Do Not Disturb vs Focus

I've had DND set up for the nighttime hours for years, but have never bothered with "Focus". For some reason today I haven't gotten a single notification (vibrate or ring) from my partner's text messages. I made sure in the Control Center that I wasn't still in DND, it's in "Focus" even though I've never set up "Focus" settings. Is there some other setting that got tripped that I'm missing?

From the control center, it only lets me enable Focus, and when I do I still receive notifications for things like texts messages. Do Not Disturb (Focus) not working properly on iOS 15 I have an iPhone 12 with iOS 15.5 and ever since the upgrade to iOS 15, the DND feature no longer works properly. Here's my current DND configuration and the issue I'm having: Configuration for Focus > Do Not Disturb is: Weekdays: 11:00PM - 7:00AM Weekends: 12:00AM - 9:00AM Issue: The DND feature properly activates at 11:00PM on weekdays and at 12:00AM on weekends. However, for both weekdays and weekends, it doesn't automatically deactivate and I have to disable it manually. I've tried deleting the DND automations and recreating them but this doesn't fix the issue. I've also tried adjusting the times a little (for example, 11:05PM - 7:05AM) but this doesn't fix the issue either. DND worked perfectly before iOS 15 (same phone). So, because of the above issue, I've had to turn off my DND automations and I no longer use / trust the DND feature. Does anyone know if this is a known bug or if there's a fix? Thanks!

No message notifications. My text notifications suddenly silenced and no banner notification either. Focus had share w other devices on, though I have no other devices. So I turned that off. I am unable to turn off dnd. I thought I turned Focus off. Still silenced. How do I get my text notifications and banners returned?

New iOS has Focus. DND is part of the Focus feature.

So, why wouldn't I be getting notifications that my partner texted me? I'm getting notifications from Instagram and Gmail, but not text messages.

So, I don't need to FOCUS, I can be disturbed. How do I RESET this machine I've been using for years so that I get all notifications?
