Siri TV remote not connecting at all

I noticed my Siri Apple TV remote wasn’t synced to my TV. So I went online to find out how to resync the remote, and it is still not connecting and I don’t know what to do.

The Siri Remote should be paired to the Apple TV box, not to your TV. The procedure as described in the linked support document would instruct how to pair.

In mostly similar wording, the pairing is also in the user guide. Reconnect the Siri Remote to Apple TV - Apple Support

If you have checked the battery charge, then the remaining thing to do, is to contact an expert from the Apple Support staff for further assistance. Contact Apple for support and service (phone numbers) or start your support request online (chat/email/callback).

Sorry I miss-worded my question. It is not syncing to the Apple TV. I’ve done the required steps to reset both remote and the Apple TV itself and it still won’t connect.
