Hi I got a text that I need to click on a link in the tex message if not my acct will be close

Sounds like a phishing attempt. Where is this text supposed to have come from? If it purports to have come from Apple, it is a scam. Don't click on it, and delete the text.

Malware from a text message I received a text message advising me of inability to deliver a parcel. It contained a link to advise new delivery details. I clicked it to arrive at a malware warning red screen. I immediately exited. Would this be enough to allow malware to penetrate & how do I check if it did? Appreciate the help in advance!
