Can't hire movies any more.

After having the AppleTV app for 12 months on Googe tv, the movies and tv icons have disappeared from the top of the home page. As a result I can't hire movies.

Any suggestions pls.

It seems that in-app transactions recently became a bit of an issue for the Apple TV app on Android TV/Google TV. To avoid that, you can do the transaction on a different supported device, e.g. your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. And then view in the Apple TV app on your Google TV device.

Get the Apple TV app or Apple TV+ app on your smart TV, streaming device, or game console - Apple Support

2. On Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, and Sony TV devices, you can't purchase content from the Apple TV app. You can buy, rent, or subscribe on another supported device and then watch in the Apple TV app on your Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, or Sony TV device.
