Sharing Photo Folders

I want to share a Photo Folder with many albums inside it. How do I do that? What I am trying to accomplish - my daughter has been tasked with making a slideshow with photos from all her classmates. Each parent is sending 3 photos of their child. I want to make an album for each child and then put them all in 1 folder and be able to share that folder with my daughter who will put them into iMovie for the slideshow. I've made the folder but can't figure out how to share it and keep the photos in the albums within it. Can anyone help? I have Mac OS Big Sur 11.6.2 with Photo 6.0

Hi

You can't share in the folder/album structure using shared albums, because they don't have any way of having a structure in them.

Your best bet will be to export them to a folder on your drive (eg a temporary folder on you desktop), and this will create a sub folder for each album.

Click on the folder in photos, select all of the albums (you can use CMD-A), then go to file>export.

Select jpg is kind, size as full, and then click export. On the next pane choose your temporary folder to put them in. All the albums will be exported to a separate subfolder with the name of the album. You can put this on to a USB stick for your daughter - or share in any other way you would normally share files.
