Hi, I would like to automate opening an app when a particular contact calls the phone.
Is that possible? I do not see much in the way of phone actions in automate. This exists for email and messages, but nothing from phone.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So, not really. Automations do not support the phone app. Just messages and email. If you want an automation when a contact calls you, you're out of luck.
You could make a manually run shortcut which you would have to navigate to when they phone rings, but that's not the point of an automation.
