We can try to help with your real issue, however. The first thing to try is something known to the ancients, and passed down over the centuries. “When in doubt, reboot”. So doing a forced restart accomplishes that:
The operative word here is QUICKLY; and try it a couple of times, the timing is a little tricky.
Let us know if that helps, and also describe where you are seeing slowdowns if they are continuing.

Hello ~ Do you mean that you want to go back to an earlier version of iOS?
~Katana-San~
The latest upgrade is too frustrating, removed the contents from my folders and made them all appear alone, not user friendly and I would like to go back to the prior version. Please help me remove this upgrade
Hello ~ Go back through the other posts here and read the Apple Recommended that appears at the top. *You cannot downgrade iOS. If you could explain more about the issue you’re having trouble with perhaps we could help.
~Katana-San~
You are not required to install updates, just turn off automatic update. However, every update fixes potential security vulnerabilities, so if you don’t update the statement “for all practical purposes iPhones cannot be hacked” will not be true for your phone if it hasn’t been updated.
Hello again ~ To turn of automatic updates Settings * General * Software Updates* Automatic Updates * Turn off Download iOS Updates and Install iOS Updates. I however would encourage you to keep your iPhone updated and for me the Automatic Update works best. If you have an issue this is a great place to get help. Since you cannot downgrade….how can we help you?
~Katana-San~
always accept the updates but this one changed everything on my iPhone and ipad. Not sure why this update separate my folders and make all the items in each folder separately appear. I am not happy with this change and it was not described in the update. Please correct this so I may continue to use the iPhone and ipad without all this trouble.
You cannot downgrade iOS.
You can’t downgrade iOS, but whatever your problem is has nothing to do with the update.
Yes
Thanks. Wasn’t sure.
Hello again ~ I follow the instructions posted by * Lawrence Finch * after every update whether experiencing any problems or not.
