I had to set up a different Apple ID and password. When I set it up everything was good, now they are saying to change my password yet again. I’m not going to.

Why do they want me to change my password? That’s what got me locked out before. I’m not going to change it when I set it up it was all good. What should I do. I don’t want to get locked out of my Apple account again.

Apple never tells you to change your password. They don’t monitor it nor do they enforce AppleID password changes.

If you’re getting messages saying to change it, those are scams. Do not click on any links in any such message and never provide the messenger with any information.
