I am unable to add card to my Apple wallet
I am not able to see option of adding debit or credit card on clicking add button on wallet

Open the Wallet app ➔ Tap on the + sign at top right ➔ Add debit or credit card.
If the above does not allow you to add debit/credit card(s) to the Wallet app, then double check whether you are in a ➔ Country and Region where Apple Pay is supported.
