cannot get any MusicXML file to open on Mac

Using Scorecloud, have latest OS, using PlayScore 2 (on Ipad) to scan sheet music in and convert to MusicXML - I email them to myself and a greyed out blank file page arrives. Every time.

Have tried a different app (Music Scanner) and have the same problem.

Driving me bonkers (three hours today so far...)

Any ideas?

Cannot import an MP3 to the Music app I use the Music app (I guess it was previously named iTunes) for many years. Recently I upgraded to a new MacBook Pro with MacOS 11.2.3 BigSur, I successfully copied my library so it sounds well, but now I'm not able to add new music files to my library :( Whether I click on a file "Open with Music.app" or just drag it to the app or use the Import command from the app (Cmd+O), I get just nothing, no new track in my library, nor error message, just silence... What's wrong here? How this behaviour can be fixed so I can easily import MP3 files again? PS: the mp3 file is correct of course, I've created it the same way as the old ones in my library, and it get opened fine with QuickTime and other players. But not with the Music app...

music app not adding new songs I’ve always downloaded mp3 files onto my Mac and they always show directly in my itunes app and start playing straight away. However, they are no longer showing in the app and I can no longer import new files into it. Can anyone help me with this please? ive already verifiedthat the files are not corrupt and Ive tried all methods of adding the songs to the app, for some reason nothing works however when i click on the mp3 file to preview it it does play, something seems to be very fishy with this

Given that I don't know (nor use) those apps on Mac or iPad, I would try to contact their developer support teams and ask for help. Use these instructions:--> How to contact an app developer - Apple Support
