iPhone 13 camera color accuracy is off
Hello, since I bought my new phone I had the feeling the camera does change the colors indoors, especially warm lamps to just being white, video or photo. Now I managed to get a short video of it doing this live. Youtube link, as I can not upload it here. I am filming the light source directly on purpose for it to be more visible, looking at the white wall shows how the look of the surrounding is changed in other photos or videos, even with the light source not in frame.
At the start of the recording it is spot on, so I do not understand why the AI is doing this. I thought the photographic styles are meant to do such stuff and when „standard“ is selected the colors are not changed to such a degree. I understand that this is still a tiny camera and a lot is done by AI, but when using „natural lighting“ in portrait mode the colors are mostly correct. As this is not brightness, I can not change it in the camera app. Is there any way to use natural colors in normal photo mode? Or an update planed?
