Why is my tablet like this

My iPad mini 5 keeps getting a black screen with a spinning wheel every time I press the home button does anyone have any ideas to fix it

iPad screen turns black (but is still turned on), need to lock it and unlock it again and it works fine. This happens at random, but sometimes twice in a row. my iPad Pro 10.5” has an issue since two weeks where it, at random, shows a complete empty black screen. But it’s still turned on (it shows a bit of light). Happens using any kind of app, YouTube, safari, notes etc. The screen still works, I can select, pause videos and scroll on safari, sound keeps working too. Whenever it happens I can lock it so the screen turns off and is completely black. Next I can unlock it and it works fine. This seemingly happens at random, sometimes twice in a row. Is there a way to fix this? Thank you!

ipad stuck with spinning wheel My iPad air 2 has a blank screen with a spinning wheel in the middle. I could press the home and top buttons to get it to restart, and after I type in the passcode, it shows the home screen momentarily and then goes into the spinning wheel screen again. How can I stop it from going to the spinning wheel? Thanks!

Are you able to turn the device on and see the lock or home screen? If not, then try the steps here, If your iPad won't turn on or is frozen - Apple Support
