Hello, I have a MacBook Pro 2017 and I do photoshop on Luminair AI/Neo for fun. But the response time to each edit is so slow, making it practically unusable. I am thinking about upgrading. I wasn’t sure if the M1 MacBook Air (I’m willing to wait for the M2 MacBook Air) would be sufficient or if I needed the M1 pro MacBook Pro.

If it helps, I own the 14" MacBook Pro with the M1 Pro SoC with 32GB and it runs whisper quiet, plus the fast charge MagSafe charges faster than my iPhone! 😉

I am aware of the differences. I’m just not sure about the M1 chip vs the M1 pro chip. My MacBook has the intel i7 chip and it’s too slow for editing. I’m not sure which chip to get between the M1 and the M1 pro
