If I get new mac how do I transfer all apps and data from the present macbook pro to a new macbook pro?

Thank you FoxFifth, my new Mac will arrive tomorrow and I will transfer as soon as possible. My present 2017 MB Pro has the repeating keyboard issue that is covered under warranty, it also needs battery service and the camera operates intermittently. Keyboard and battery service can't be done quickly and I cannot be w/o a laptop and files at any time so I must buy new.
