iPad Air 5th gen guided access

i just got the ipad air 5th gen. I followed all instructions but when i try to activate guided access by triple clicking the top button, it just locks on the first click. how do i fix this?

How to start guided access on iPad?? In the description of the guided access in sittings, it’s written that to start guided access we have to triple-click on the top (power) button. But whenever I try this, my iPad closes :) !! please tell me how to start it! note: my iPad is Air 2020 (fourth generation).

The triple-click of the Home (not the Sleep/Wake) button applies only to some models of iPhone.
