Having trouble pairing my Phonak hearing aids to bluetooth on my MacBook Pro

Can anyone help me pair my Phonak hearing aids to bluetooth with my Mac book pro? have no trouble pairing them with my iPhone and iPad. Just got the mac book pro and still learning.

I use Resound Linx Quarto behind-the-ear and connect to my iPhone, only. At least for me, I don't see any added benefit from connecting to the computer as well.


A lot of Macs have older Bluetooth versions that may be able to connect (if you want to bad enough) but their older Bluetooth forces the hearing aids to use far more power, and some may not work at all.


If you do not really need to connect yours to your MacBook Pro (for example, you already have them connected to your phone) I suggest you just use your phone connection and skip the connection to your Mac.
