today view not available on home screen

today view not available on home screen, I try going to Home Screen and dock but option not there

Today View on the main Home screen of your iPad went away with the introduxtion of iOS/iPadOS 15.

Sorry.

When Apple allowed iOS/iPadOS widgets to be placed anywhere on the iPad, in iPadOS 15, Apple removed the compacted home screen with the Today View column and smaller squeezed together icons.

You can STILL accesss the Today View screen, in iPadOS 15, by swiping right, but that is it!.
